Our Building Process
A Clear Path from First Call and Site Visit to Construction and Final Walkthrough
Marago Construction follows a defined process shaped by years of South Florida building and project-management experience. Licensed and insured, we adapt each phase to the property, approved work, and qualified trades involved.
Planning Your Project Before Construction Begins
Strong construction outcomes tend to start with decisions worked out on paper. Early planning reviews feasibility, measures existing conditions, and clarifies how the finished space should function. Material and fixture selections, permit requirements, and any engineering needs are identified and tracked as project-specific dependencies, so the trade sequence can be planned around them rather than reacted to on site. A written scope records what is included, which choices remain open, and how changes will be handled, giving you a reference point to work from during planning and as the project moves forward.

How Owner-Led Project Management Works
We pair hands-on local building experience with close coordination between you, your designers, and the trades, so each remodel is planned around your scope and priorities.
Confirmations Before Construction
- Approved work and known exclusions are documented.
- Selections, permit steps, and trade dependencies are identified.
- Access, protection, and decision responsibilities are assigned.
- Open items have an owner and a clear target date.
Coordination During Construction
- Coordinate the client, designer, and required trades from the approved plan.
- Track selections and product decisions against installation dates.
- Maintain one accountable project contact for field questions and updates.
- Document changes before they affect the approved work, price, or schedule.
What a Defined Remodeling Plan Provides
You receive an approved description of the work, one accountable project contact, coordinated trades, and a final review against the plan.
Sequenced Phases
The work is organized around the approved scope, required trades, material dependencies, inspections, and client decisions that determine how each phase can proceed from start to closeout.
Site Protection
Access, occupied areas, work zones, deliveries, and cleanup expectations are established before construction, with one contact responsible for ongoing site questions.
Accountable Project Oversight
Years of building and project-management experience guide how Marago evaluates existing conditions, coordinates qualified trades, records decisions, and checks completed work against the agreement.
The Construction Project Workflow
Each project follows a consistent sequence adjusted to the property and approved work. Early information supports the site review; the site review informs design, selections, and pricing; and the final plan guides preconstruction, trade coordination, inspections, and closeout. The steps below show where client decisions and professional input enter the work.
Write down the top goals you want this project to accomplish, then gather photos of your space and any design ideas that inspire you.
Call (772) 834-0764 or submit the inquiry form with the property address, project type, priorities, and timing. We review the information, answer initial questions, and arrange the appropriate next step.
We walk the property with you, take field photos and measurements, and document existing conditions that may affect structure, systems, access, occupancy, permits, design, or the order of work. Those findings help shape the approved scope.
We coordinate with your design partners so the layout, finishes, and product selections match what you want and fit your budget. Larger or more complex projects, such as a home addition, may also involve an architect to develop the plans.
Once the scope is set, we finalize the plans and an estimate and review everything with you. When the details are clear and you are ready, we put the agreement in writing and sign the contract.
Before construction, the plan identifies the schedule, material staging, site access, the permits and inspections your project needs, and any preconstruction steps.
With your approval, work begins on site. We coordinate the trades and each stage of the job, and keep you updated on progress through the communication plan we set together.
We walk the space with you, document a punch list, and complete the corrections we agree on before closeout.
We hand over the completed work with the details you need to care for your space.
Quality Standards for Every Project
Marago manages each project from an approved description of the work. Before construction, we confirm responsibilities, selections, access, property protection, required trades, permit and inspection steps, material dependencies, and how updates will be delivered. That preparation gives the client, project lead, designers, and trade partners the same reference point.
Quality is checked throughout the work, not reserved for the final walkthrough. Field conditions and changes are documented as they arise, installations are reviewed against the plans and approved work, and unresolved items are tracked through closeout. Florida Building Contractor licensing and years of local building and project-management experience support that standard on Treasure Coast remodeling, addition, commercial, and specialty construction projects.
Building Standards for Every Project
As a licensed Florida Building Contractor, Marago Construction performs residential and commercial work across the Treasure Coast. Years of local building and project-management experience guide how each job is evaluated and supervised.
Before construction begins, we document the approved work, confirm the required trades, and outline how scheduling, site access, selections, inspections, and updates will be handled through project closeout. Those details give everyone a shared reference throughout construction.
